1. In consideration for the possibility of publicity for submissions to blueknows.ca, you grant blueknows.ca all of the following rights:
   1. The non-exclusive right to unlimited publication on blueknows.ca, VocaLocal's haligonia.ca, and any other web site or print publication owned by The Chronicle Herald
   2. To retain the submission on any media for use by any persons, but this right shall not otherwise include a right to republish; and
   3. To modify submissions for the exercise of the rights above as blueknows.ca deems necessary.
2. Subject to the rights granted to BlueKnows.ca in No. 1, you retain ownership of the copyright.
3. Blueknows.ca agrees to indicate in any publications that you are the author/contributor, but no inadvertent breach of this paragraph shall be a breach of this Agreement.
4. You guarantee to blueknows.ca:
   1. That you are the sole owner of copyright for the submission and that no rights have been granted to any person or entity which would conflict with the rights granted to blueknows.ca under this Agreement
   2. That material submitted does not defame any person or entity, or violate the privacy rights or any other rights of any person or entity; and
   3. That you will not copy, modify, or distribute any other person’s content;
   4. That you will not harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
   5. That you will not distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm blueknows.ca or the interests or property of its users.
   6. You also agree to indemnify blueknows.ca against liability claims as a result of something you've posted to the site.
5. Blueknows.ca reserves the right to delete any post at any time for any reason. We are under no obligation at any time to publish any work.

IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY ASPECT OF THE BETA PROGRAM, OR WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE BETA PROGRAM.
